President Joe Biden somehow became the least popular president in recent memory. This mainly happened because prices for groceries soared during his administration and because Convicted-Felon, Ex-President Trump harped upon his shortcomings and made him the scapegoat for everything else. A lot of negative things can be said (often by myself), but one thing is clear... the man knows how to communicate a message. Somehow Biden was trailing a man who IMHO was the worst president since James Buchanan.

Things have changed, Biden is no longer the Democratic Party candidate. Vice-President Kamala Harris is. Her main attributes are that she isn't Trump and she isn't Biden. Trump is trying to foist responsibility upon her for all of Biden's perceived shortcomings... it isn't working. She appears to wear the same Teflon that Presidents Reagan and Trump seemed to wear. Nothing is sticking to her.

Trumps message (which isn't getting across to voters) is that she is Biden reincarnated. The voters know that a Vice-President is essentially powerless. Nobody is going to vote against Trump because J.D. Vance is the vice-presidential candidate. Nobody is going to vote against Harris because she is Biden's Vice-President. Nobody is going to vote against Harris because Tim Walz is the vice-presidential candidate. Vice-President means nothing.

Trump is the most recent President who is running for President. The rampant inflation that burdened Biden started with all of the money give-aways during Covid, during the Trump administration. Sure, Biden made mistakes during the evacuation of US Troops from Afghanistan. Trump had four years to bring home the troops with a better plan... but he failed to do this. Trumps wall, what little he got built, hasn't stopped illegal immigration. Trumps sanctions against Venezuela have cause hundreds of thousands to flee towards the United States.

Much of what Trump blames Biden for, were started during his administration. He is wasting his time trying to blame Harris for these events.

Just like in 2016, when there was only one Democratic candidate that couldn't defeat Trump (Hillary Clinton)... today there is only one Democrat that can't defeat trump... Biden.

Trump was a terrible President. Biden became an unpopular President. American voters are smarter than many give them credit for being. The polls are beginning to favor Harris because she looks and behaves more presidential than Trump.
