The prosecution and the defense portions of the Derek Chauvin trial for the killing of George Floyd have wrapped up in Minneapolis and the case should go to the Jury next week. Meanwhile, adding to the uproar has been the killing of Daunte Wright. Protesters are again marching through cities and demanding justice for George Floyd and Daunte Wright.

Does this mean that they want the Minnesota criminal justice system to provde Chauvin a fair trial in the traditional sense... a Trial where the prosecution presents its case, the defense presents its case and then the Jury deliberates and decides guilt or innocense. Does this mean the protestors will accept the outcome if Chauvin is found not guilty? will they say that George Floyd has received justice?

I believe not. The protestors were looking for a trial but only in a state sanctioned Kangaroo court. They were looking for a trial where the prosecution presents overwhelming evidence that Chauvin murdered Floyd and then for the jury to sentence Chauvin to life in prison. Anything different than that would not be justice for George Floyd in their minds. This of course is not a quest for justice, it is a quest for revenge.

After the killing of Duante Wright the resigned police officer Kim Potter has been charged with manslaughter. Protesters are marching again in cities across our land asking for Justice this time for Duante Wright. Of course, again, they mean revenge. Potter may well make a deal with prosecuters and plead guilty. That would truly serve justice and save Hennepin County many thousands of dollars. Will this please the protestors? Will they accept this outcome as justice? I doubt it. This would eliminate the specticle of an official Kangaroo court style trial. The protestors will be up in arms because their brand of justice (eg revenge) always demands a Kangaroo court trial and a certain guilty verdict.

These are quests for mob rule from the left, just as the the Capitol insurection in January was a quest for mob rule from the right. In both cases they want to defy our Constitutional system. In both cases the actions are not only Unpatriotic they are Un-American. All of you out there that supported the Capitol insurection and and are supporting revenge for George Floyd and Duante Wright... You Should Be Ashamed
